Notes:

With seven types of wood, including four rosewoods (African blackwood, cocobolo, camatillo, and Honduran rosewood burl), and two veneers, Abigail is one of the rarest, most complex, and most elegant of the candlesticks. Abigail's double rope twist was created from an amazing piece of Honduran rosewood burl. The base, which I call the “Dizzy Base” design, is a very complicated and tedious construction, as you can appreciate from the photographs. Honduran rosewood burl is currently the most expensive wood on the market; a turning square of the size required to make Abigail (1.5 x 1.5 x 12 in or 3.8 x 3.8 x 30.5 cm) costs over $125 (in 2015).

Because cocobolo and Honduran rosewood burl are listed in CITES Appendix II, this candlestick cannot be sold outside of the United States.
